All Star parents coming together for All Star kids!
CASSATT
Known for painting such lovely hats in their paintings, let's give the students a chance to show of their individuality by designing their own hat! You can do any medium, pictured is tissue paper I believe and water color. You can give the students different mediums to choose from or just pick one. Print the page below as a guide for students. If you wanted to give it a more personal touch you can have the students do silhouette drawings of each other in class and they can each design their own hats for their own head! I would alot for the time this could take though!

GOYA
This inspired Goya trees craft seems super fun! You can walk them through the painting and the best part is all you really need to be good as is painting straight lines. The students will have fun mixing paint to find the perfect gray ! It's kind of neat to work with black, white and gray!

Check out these funky PICASSO FACES! You can have each student bring in a cereal box for the craft and that will be majority of your supplies! Water color and pastels complete it!! These are going to be so cute on display! Check out a tutorial
VAN RIJN
Make these cute dutch windmill houses out of solo cups! You can have the students paint them however way they like or you can have them play on shadows and light by painting a darker shade of the color on one side of the windmill so it looks like it has a shadow, something that Van Rijn mastered beautifully in all of his work. Below is a tutorial. Be prepared to put in some prep time. I personally would have a kit made out for each student so they have all their starting supplies in a baggy. Easier to create and just assemble! The prep will help you with this one in the long run!

MATTISSE
Put those students to work with scissors for this adorable Mattisse craft! Low Prep and so cute!!! You will want to guide them a little bit with suggesting some shapes to be inspired by, but otherwise they will be cutting their way to victory with this idea. All you need is paper of different colors, glue and scissor... oh and some imagination!

These sunset/silhouette scenes are PERFECT for an ole western picture! You can use pastels, crayons, watercolor to do the sunset colored background and black construction paper for the silhouettes. Cowboys and horses in a desert scene is what you'd want to aim for while being inspired by Remington!
